Here is my "new" car, we call it Barney. Believe it or not, it's much better than what I was driving before.

I found this picture on the Internet, the artist is Jim Warren. I love the concept. What imagination! And a child's imagination is a fascinating thing to me. Especially that of my three year old son. I hear the saying, "An only child is a lonely child" occasionally by people pressuring us to have another baby, but in a way that is true. My son has made imaginary friends to make up for the lack of constant companionship. Cherag and I discussed this last night and decided that it's better for him to be using his imagination this way then to be addicted to TV or Video games. Yesterday, he came downstairs holding the telephone, talking into it saying, "Yeah, sure, okay, I'll call you back." Then he looked at me put his hand on his hip and said, "Mommy, Nick is coming over tomorrow to play with me and Harry, so, You'll have to go to Hallie's house (his normal babysitter). Yeah, there is going to be only boys here, so you're going to have to leave." I loved it, I laughed so hard and gave him the biggest kiss. He is so funny! By, the way he laughed too. I wasn't laughing at him, only with him.
Anyways, we are moving this week, hence the reason why I haven't posted in so long. In fact all our camping pictures are still on the camera. It will be fall before I get the summer pictures up!
Packing has been difficult because we are downsizing. We are moving in with Cherag's parents for a few years to save up for a house. If we stay on track we should have our own home in 6 years. Much better then renting for the next 15. Ryan will have lots of friends in the neighbourhood. There are small kids everywhere and a very nice park just down the street. There is a little boy who lives next door, he is 4. He is so excited for Ryan to stay and play with him. Most of the neighbourhood is Middle Eastern, Indian people, so Ryan will get to learn more about that part of himself, especially from Granny and Papa too. We are going to India in December for the first time (well, for Ryan and myself). I am hoping that Ryan will pick up some of the language before we go, so that I will be the only one left in the dark about what people are saying. I always think I know, but then when I ask Cherag if I am right, he says, "no".
I will post again and share pictures of our new "home" in September. Have a great last few weeks of summer!
